Cyber bullying is a topic that has recently gotten a lot of coverage in the press and Safer Internet Day was celebrated on the 10th of February in an attempt to bring online bullying to an end.

The slogan was “Let’s create a better internet together” and this is a sentiment IYC fully supports. However, in order to tackle cyber bullying and make the internet a safer, more welcoming place for children we feel it’s important that parent’s understand social networks and how children use them.
