It’s Your Choice is pleased to welcome new Chair, Mike Taylor, on to the board of Trustees.

Mike’s career in the charity and  public sector spans decades making him the ideal person for the job particularly at a time when, like many other local charities, It’s Your Choice is facing major funding challenges.

The new Chair of the Trustees’ credentials include previously being Director of Social Services in Hillingdon, Director of Children’s Services for the NSPCC  and Director of UK and European Programmes for Save the Children. He was recently Chair of the State of Jersey’s Child Protection Committee, and is currently the Independent Chair of the Safeguarding Adults Board for Warwickshire .

Speaking recently of his appointment as Chair Mr Taylor said:

“I have worked extensively with children and young people who have experienced problems in their lives – most often caused significantly by the adults around them – and who have missed out on the right help at the right time.

It’s Your Choice is there to help and support those who need it to deal with those problems and make their futures better.  I am delighted to be Chair of its Trustees and part of its strong, responsive services.”

It’s Your Choice CEO, Chris Carey, is equally as pleased to welcome Mike into the charity;
